We’re hearing a lot this year about the Holy Door and indulgences, forgiveness and reconciliation. But do these words and, above all, this Jubilee Year have meaning only for Catholics? We asked Corinna Muehlstedt, a German Lutheran theologian, who lives between Munich (Germany) and Rome (Italy) and works as a journalist and correspondent for ARD, the German public broadcasting group.
